Mark J. Vamvaketis, LUTCF, CLTC is a Financial Advisor , CEO & President of Volant Wealth Management, which is affiliated with Osaic Wealth, Inc. an Independent Broker Dealer. Mark is a Fiduciary who began his career in 1994 as an Advisor with Prudential Preferred Financial Services, where he was quickly recognized as a National Leader. He is a perennial qualifying member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, the premier association for Financial Advisors worldwide. In 2022, Mark once again achieved “Top of The Table” status, which ranks him in the Top 1% worldwide.  He’s also been honored as Advisor of the Year at Lighthouse Financial Network and a multi-year qualifier of A.C.E., recognizing Signator Investors’ Top Advisors in the country. Mark is an active member of M.D.R.T., and is also a proud member of N.A.I.F.A. (National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors), and FSI (Financial Services Institute).

Mark’s expertise in Wealth Management and Protection Planning, helps his clients strive to turn their goals into a reality. As an industry veteran for nearly 30 years, Mark has become a Specialist in providing Guaranteed Streams of Retirement Income and Tax Managed Investments for his clients. He uses comprehensive Financial Strategies to create “Tiers of Liquidity,” to assist in his clients financial security. Mark has surrounded his financial practice with a dynamic team of Accountants, Attorney’s and other devoted professionals that can help assist in advising Mark’s clients in all areas of their financial life.

Mark works primarily in the medical market. As a Benefits Specialist, he has been a featured speaker at many medical conferences and hospitals on the east coast. Additionally, Mark works with other successful professionals and business owners to “Grow and Preserve” their wealth. His service oriented Financial Practice has enabled him to keep a relationship for longevity with his clients both locally and around the country.

Mark is a dedicated individual in his personal life as well. He is a life long New Yorker, who resides in Long Island. He is married and a proud father of 3 sons. He volunteers as a little league baseball coach. Mark likes to donate his time and his money to some special charities that are very close to his heart, such as Wounded Warriors and Tunnel to Towers. He realizes how fortunate he is to have a wonderful family and a successful career that creates life long relationships, all while doing what he loves.

Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum commission and gross business generated within a year. Each MDRT status designation is granted for one year only. All members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with the Million Dollar Round Table. MDRT Top of the Table is based on minimum sales production requirements and gross business generated within a year. To be eligible for Top of the Table membership, an applicant must meet four times the production level of a base MDRT membership.

Dora Vamvaketis

COO & Executive VP

Dora Vamvaketis is the Chief Operating Officer and Client Liaison for Volant Wealth Management. For 15 years Dora has helped make certain the firm runs smoothly so it can most effectively serve their clients.

Her role at Volant is to ensure clients have the information they need to stay updated on their financial situation. She manages aspects of daily firm operations, including processing forms, and onboarding. She also maintains Volant’s client relationship management software and office workflow. Dora is also a licensed insurance agent.

Prior to joining forces with Mark, Dora managed Commission Compensation contracts for 5 major Airlines for both US and International carriers. Dora also owned her own Travel Agency.

Dora lives in New York with her husband and her three grown sons.

When not working, Dora enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family, watching ice hockey and working out.

Lauren Sproul

Executive Assistant

Lauren Sproul has joined the Volant family as an Executive Assistant to CEO Mark J. Vamvaketis and COO Dora Vamvaketis.  For over 20 years, Lauren has assisted Development Officers, CEOs and Board Members at various organizations throughout Long Island. 

In addition to assisting Mark & Dora, she will provide support to our clients.  Having held positions at many non-profits in New York, she is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of our clients.

Lauren has two grown sons and lives out east with her husband. 

On Lauren’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, long walks, bike riding, traveling, as well as cooking, baking and playing with her rescue bunny, Kismet.
